For seventeen years, Justin Kabbani led Hardhat – the creative advertising agency he cofounded with childhood mate Dan Monheit. Together, they grew from two guys with one laptop in a spare bedroom to a 40-strong team of brilliant brains across Melbourne and Sydney.
With industry-leading knowledge of human heuristics and behavioural economics, Hardhat solved creative briefs and changed beliefs for prominent Aussie and global brands like DocuSign, Visy, Bupa, and Simply Energy, as well as Aussie startups Zip, Kogan, Superhero, Afterpay, and Willed.
Justin exited the business in 2022, when he began a full-time focus on helping businesses embrace the biggest technological change of our generation—AI. Hardhat was acquired in 2024 by one of the world’s fastest growing and most creative advertising communications companies Thinkerbell, led by Adam Ferrier and Margie Reid.
